WingCam One - A unique Stabilised Camera Mount for Light Aircraft
After years of research and development in the field of aerial cinematography Wild Images has come up with a unique stabilised camera platform designed for use on light aircraft - anywhere in the world.
Specifications for the mount include:
- Gyro stabilisation on four axes.
- Camera and gimbal functions remotely controlled from within the aircraft cabin.
- Supports a variety of full-sized cameras including film, video and high definition and also supports newer P2 based HD cameras.
- Easy installation without modification to the aircraft.
- Independent power source means that it can be installed on virtually any light aircraft.
- Highly transportable as excess baggage or freight.
- STC Approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
- Pan 360°, Tilt +10° -80° from the horizontal.
- Remote zoom, focus, iris, variable speed control and on/off record.
Mount Hire:
The mount is hired out along with Emmy Award winning cameraman Richard Matthews. It is curently based in South Africa, but can be shipped anywhere in the world, unlike some camera mounts which are restricted by US department of defence trade controls.
